Sighted between (H/I-8) during Full Moon (95%) on Iceday between 0:00-4:00. Either it's triggered by the Lunar Phase, day of the week, or it has a high repop timer. It wasn't up the following 2 nights, and since no one killed it when it first spawned, I'd imagine if it goes unclaimed past 4:00, its respawn timer is reset.

Such a shame no one was around to kill it with me.

6/19 - Bhaflau Remnants, Yilbegan Redux

2 Gate Widows, another Mdk35, putting us at 2/9. That was all that went right.

I got to help kill the big baddy ancient dragon thing, Yilbegan, tonight. Actually, 5 of them. All 5 of them were "NQ" if you will, and you would not believe how many crystals we ended up getting.

What news do I have to unload. Oh, so I'm 0/4 on Sim now, but we managed to get the Damascus Ingot (5%) drop instead. Awesome. Soon it's going to be out of my time zone, so I suspect I'm never going to have enhanced speed on THF. :3

As for the much anticipated FFXIV Alpha test date, it was today. Yap. I didn't actually get to play it, but I did get to experience it vicariously through my close friend (whose PC can actually run it). Apparently, the Alpha server is really crummy. Takes ages to log in and when you are logged in, another player on your screen will almost freeze your computer.

This was kind of a bittersweet victory. I'm sure it's common in the HNM world to watch someone with linkx5 die, but even I felt kind of bad, and it didn't help that he was a Taru. I was still ready to steal it though, mostly because I didn't want to get screwed for being the nice guy, and I sure as hell didn't want to go through the nerve-wracking process that is camping a NM in such a dangerous and unpredictable area against 4-5 RDMs with Crimson Pants.

In spite of my sense of moral outrage, I will give credit where credit is due. Thank you, Firewall, Omari, Nolard and Cyprian for helping me out with this. I know now for a fact that I couldn't have handled this by myself, so your support was greatly appreciated. Use this as an excuse to whore favors from me!

Last night, a couple of friends of mine agreed to come kill Ungur for Nolard's boomie. On the way over, we both somehow managed to completely pass Bune, prancing around big as day. Luckily, Cyp wasn't so oblivious. c.c

At any rate, I came to Tinnin tonight not expecting anything. Some HNM to sharpen my claws every once in a while is fun.

Life or Something Like It

Not going to lie; I've actually never seen that movie. I just have this thing against Angelina Jolie as a blonde. She's too... "exotic"-looking to pull off golden curls. I'm also not very fond of her as an actress, but I have heard good things about Changeling.

So I've been gone for about a week. I've gotten on for a little while here 'n' there to hunt for maps. Now that I'm actually close to 79/79, I'm enraptured with map quests.

Huge, huge thanks to Firewall for playing as me for ZNMs and snagging me the Blood Ring and Coiler. Figures I'd go 1/1 on the drops I need when I'm being played vicariously.

I'm still going to try to top off my maps, but I'm going to be sulking a bit these next few days.

I'm very far away from a very special someone.
