Eremes obtains a what?
To whom it may concern:
I'm at school again (AKA Home), so I can make NOT-DULL, image-rich posts again!
So after about two months of lame-ass drops, Altana finally smiled on me, apparently:

The Mithras and the Humes really put out tonight; we went 5/7 on belts and 3/7 on subligars. I'm sorry to the RDMs who totally got screwed tonight. Glamor Jupon isn't a bad consolation prize, I suppose. :(

One to be Jeered
To whom it may concern,
Apparently being away from my computer cripples my ability to write basic HTML and take screenshots, so this post will be very, very boring.
So, like, omg. I've got like... one foot inside of Sea. O/U was actually a joke of a mission. On our dry run (we only did 1), without meds, food, reraise, pumps, or 2 hours, we got Ultima to 1%. Second run, we used maybe 5 meds each and only 3 pumps; we set the current battlefield clear time record at 26 minutes - 4 more than the current record posted on the Wiki.

2/3 Paths
To whom it may concern:
Wow, I haven't posted in like, A FEW DAYS. Sadly, all I have to report is same ol', same ol'.
Nyzul Isle, as usual, hates me. No Feeties (again), but Denali Jacket dropped. I WAS ACTUALLY PRESENT THIS TIME. However, when I see a THF in a Mandau and 4/5 Denali, I can't help but yield. I passed the coat to him. :)
CoP is coming along relatively smoothly. We've cleared Tenzen's and Louverance's Paths with ease and started Ulmia's today. Unfortunately, we underestimated the Mithra Trackers...

The latest version update brought with it much-needed exposition and development of the Wings of the Goddess storyline as well as some intriguing new gameplay elements. However, it also inadvertently resurrected the Jeuno {/Shout}, the bane of my existence:

Wings of the Goddess: Quality, not Quantity
To whom it may concern:

I have to say that the storyline for Wings of the Goddess continues to dazzle me. With memorable characters, brilliant choreography, and the requisite tantalizing cliffhanger, this update brought us a brief, yet engaging addition to the extant missions. It really is amazing how much the development team has been able to do with largely existing material.

Why does Ulmia's Harp Sound like a Flute?
To whom it may concern:
Promyvion-Vahzl was... Interesting to say the least. I had always heard horror stories about it. I also heard that BLUs are an asset for this mission due to Head Butt.
What I found was that the climb bosses were considerably more difficult than the final boss trio. Only the Propagator was susceptible to Stun; the other two resisted it almost 100%. Additionally, Frightful Roar was resisted heavily on the climb. This may have been due to their respective elements and their increasing difficulty though.

Gaming the System
To whom it may concern:
Bard's Slippers: O
Melee Glovesx2: O
Duelist's Tights: O
Assassin's Poulainesx2: O
Commodore's Gants: O
Cleric's Pantaloons: O
A few people still needed Jeuno, but I guess we'll have to do it again for those who missed out on the win today.
Curiously, I did get my hands on something:

'A Fine Mis Au Point'
To whom it may concern:
I actually don't have much to say today. School has kept me just busy enough to press Alt + 2 for Curing Waltz every 15 seconds while I do research.
By the way, I don't see why Dancer hooks people. After 5 levels doing nothing but sucking and dying, and another 5 levels of spamming Waltzes, I'm already tired of the job.
And by God, I do not need another job that wears doublets. Every freaking job I've played wears doublets 30-55. Try as I may, I still feel self-conscious in a Brigandine, even if it makes everyone look fat.
Normally, I'd explain why I'm posting day-old screenshots, but I didn't have the wherewithal to post about it last night and I don't really feel like posting about it now.

Failing is OK Too
To whom it may concern,

Tonight was full of fail. Attempted Carmine Dobsonfly with 4 people: SCH, SMNx2, THF. Unfortunately, one of our SMN was distracted, and our SCH didn't Manifestation Sleep before we wiped. Lesson learned: gather them up, sleep them, Astral Flow, sleep, lather, rinse, repeat. I was called to my Nyzul static, so I had to say good-bye to the flies. :/

'No' to Mirage Jubbah Again

Duelist's Tabard: O
Valor Leggings: O
Mirage Jubbah: X
And to make matters worse, we killed the {Mega Boss} after our designation was up, so a few people couldn't get the win.
Eremes dies a little inside.

Divine Might, 1/1
To whom it may concern:
I owe all of the friends who helped me on this mission a huge debt of gratitude. Thank you, Hoss, Rucca, Anviper, Cyprian and Demetria, for coming on this run with nothing to gain but the happiness of helping friends. Thank you, Mascrapone, for recruiting and your efforts in organizing our parties. Thank you, Firewall, for filling in our empty slots with skilled players, and above all else, convincing me that we could actually do this. Finally, thank you, Aydindril, for your epic tanking; we really couldn't have done it without you.
For this run, we used a "Supertank" method, which entails a tank catching initial sight/sound agro and straight-tanking the mob without generating enmity; effectively the PLD can be healed ad nauseum. Aydindril caught agro from the 5 angels, trained them back to the entrance where she was healed, while the other two parties took down each of the angels one by one. We pulled the Elvaan to start, then the Galka, the Mithra, whatever remaining pets, the Hume, and finally, we all converged on the Tarutaru, who was Warping helplessly around the arena.

Divine Might Scheduling Conflicts
To whom it may concern:
Scheduling Divine Might is rapidly becoming the most difficult thing to do on XI if you don't happen to have an Endgame/HNM Linkshell at your fingertips. It's an event most seasoned players have already done, and 3 of the 5 earrings have viable (albeit costly) substitutes now. The only earrings that are still worth their weight in gil are the Bushinomimi (if you happen to be a SAM) and the Suppanomimi (for almost every /NIN DD). For BLU, which in most situations depends on its sword DPS and accuracy, the Suppanomimi is a "Must Have" piece - a "Must Have" piece I must have. c.c
