Blue Magic Ideas

TinycGive me more spells to cast in a Neptune's Staff. Learned from Orobons, another mob we didn't get any spells from. Could make it another water-based Breath spell or a useful alternative to Maelstrom.





Heavily influenced by Blue Magic skill and current MP, with a chance of failure ("No effect on Player"). Soft cap: 75 MP recovered (net of 60 MP gained), Recast: 4 minutes. Slightly less effective than Refresh when used below 50% MP with proper haste equipment, effective only on the user. Diffusable.



A single-hit, piercing spell with a chance of paralysis. The paralysis chance greatly decreases relative to the target's level. This could effectively be Pinecone Bomb II and a less erratic Cannonball/Vertical Cleave. Skillchain element: Reverberation (Vorpal Blade + Drill Branch = Reverberation). A positive correlation against all the Beast-type Endgame mobs (Kirin, Cerberus, Dark Ixion, Khimaira) would be more than welcome. Can be used with other spells for the Beast Killer trait.



TinycHello, Bird Killer. Piercing, 5-hit, and positive correlation against birds. Skillchain Element: Gravitation (Expiacion + Amorphic Spikes = Darkness). Learned from Custards. While the AF2 NM can use it, the spell cannot be learned from it.





A less potent mix of Cocoon and Saline Coat with a 3 minute duration. Diffusable.



Healing Breeze II, learned from Puk Notorious Monsters.



TinycLearned from Yovras. Adds some amount of attack directly to the next physical Blue Magic spell cast. Recast: 90 seconds. Stacks with all other enhancements, including Azure Lore, Chain Affinity, and Sneak Attack. Has no effect on support spells, but will still be used up if they are cast while this effect is active. In the spirit of the enemy that uses it, can be paired with other spells for the Auto Regen trait.
